NC DMVA Roadshow

Friends, Thank you for all you do for North Carolina’s military community. Your work makes a real difference in the lives of service members, Veterans, and their families, and we’re grateful to count you as a partner. We’re reaching out with an opportunity we hope you’ll help us share. For many who have served, and for the spouses and families who serve alongside them, the move to civilian life is about more than finding a job. It’s about finding purpose again: a mission to belong to, a team to be part of, and a sense that their skills still matter. Meaningful employment supports financial stability, but it also strengthens confidence, connection, and overall wellbeing. When the right role is found early, it becomes the foundation for a career that can grow for years to come. That belief is at the heart of our next event. North Carolina for Military Employment (NC4ME) is partnering with the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NC DMVA) to host the NC4ME Hiring Event on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at UNC Wilmington, the final stop of the NC DMVA Roadshow. This isn’t a typical job fair. Each candidate is prescreened and thoughtfully matched with roles that fit their skills, experience, and goals, then booked for pre-scheduled interviews with North Carolina employers who are ready to hire. The focus is on the right fit, not just any fit, so candidates can step into work that supports both their families today and their careers tomorrow. Because interviews are scheduled in advance, space is limited and early registration matters.
