Feb-Apr 2024

From Commander Gaynor
We have just been through the Holiday Season and hope everyone had an enjoyable time with family and friends. We were able to have the Onslow County Fair in Oct. 2023 and unfortunately, we did not have a great Fair overall. There were many factors that played a part in the low turnout, especially the weather. We are looking forward to next year and pray that the weather is good. We are hoping to have a great membership year in 2024 and I look forward to seeing more new members and current members attending meetings. It is important the members come out and attend meetings. Just paying your dues helps support the post but we need more involvement from members. As our members age, we will need younger members to step up and become officers of the post. Get involved now by learning officer duties & responsibilities within the post and how the post functions throughout the year.

Adjutant Fred Worthington
