-The 8th District Division 2 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention Ride from Fayetteville to Jacksonville, with Car/Truck/Jeep/Bike show held at Burton-Cowell Post 265, raised $4,150.10 for the NC Chapter of The Suicide Prevention Foundation. Thanks to all who participated and sponsored the event.

-As of April 2024 Burton-Cowell Post 265 meet the 2024 membership goal to reach 100% membership for 2024. Great Job Legionaires!

-Post nominations for officers for the 2025 year will be held at the general memebrship meeting on 22 April 2024. Additional Nominations can be made at the general membership meeting on 27 May 2024. If you have a nomintation for a post officer position or would like to be nominated for a post officer position, please contact Richard John Potter. Voting for the 2025 officers will also occur at the May meeting. Installation of elected officers will occur at the 24 June 2024 meeting.
